Bacchus RavesWent here with a group of six for dinner. Our server was energetic and knowledgeable about the menu. We all loved our meals, from starters through to dessert. The seafood was fantastic, as was the ambiance. Will definitely eat here the next time I'm in STX. We dined here on a Friday night just before a jump up, a local festival celebrated just 4 times a year in St Croix. The food was excellent, best Lobster Thermidor we'd ever had. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and interestingOur last meal on the Island and oh did we ever find the right place to enjoy it at! Our server and the entire staff truly worked as a team to make our experience at Bacchus memorable. Cheerful, intelligent, friendly, passionate and efficient! We shared the lobster ravioli with vanilla rum cream as an appetizer. HEAVENLY!We dined at Bacchus over the Thanksgiving holidays twice and WHAT A MEAL! O M G!!!!! The servers were excellent with impeccable manners and presentation. The food was the best we ever had and the whole atmosphere and staff made us feel very special. Thanks to owner Tim, manager Jodie and the rest of the wonderful staff!!!! Bill and Ginny Food and drink to die for. My wife and I travel A LOT. We rarely if ever give 5 stars. But this place is fabulous. Absolutely world class.My husband and I frequent St. Croix several times a year. Bacchus has consistantly been a wonderful experience. We have NEVER had a bad meal there. The owners and staff are A1 quality. Honestly, we love it there and highly recommend it for adults or children that eat out of the box...no chicken fingers and fries served there but my son loves it anyway. The owners care about fine details and do an excellent job!We were very happy with our meal and could not believe the service. The staff were very professional and attentative. The food was out of this world, and reasonably priced considering its exceptional taste. The setting of the restaurant is very old world, chic and classy.We found out about Bacchus from the crew of a dive boat - they said don't look at the prices, just go! We did and now every time we're on island we go back - we've never been disappointed! Great atmosphere - great food - more than pleasant staff! All in all a wonderful experience!GREAT meal -- the best we had in St. Croix. Be sure to make reservations and definitely order the "chef's cure of the day". It was fresh wahoo the night we were there and it was unbelievably good. Jody is an awesome server and the wine list is fantastic. As I believe someone else said in the reviews, this was one of the best places we ate as well as the most expensive. My son still talks about how wonderful the filet was that he had there (he is 14). I had the lobster, which was excellent.One of our most favorite restaurants on the island. Located in the heart of downtown Christiansted, the food is always excellent and the service is solid. They wait on you hand-and-foot using all staff. Food is slightly pricey, but the value is excellent. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure.
